Zach Tinker (Sonny Kiriakis, Days Of Our Lives) posted in his Instagram stories recently and shared the trailer for a new video game titled, “The Quarry” that he did voice work for! According to “The Quarry’s” official website, the following is the plot for the game, “It’s late summer in the remote forests of upstate New York, and the teen counselors of Hackett’s Quarry have the camp to themselves for one final night. That means no kids, no adults, and no rules. In this thrilling cinematic tale, you control the fates of all nine camp counselors as their party plans unravel into an unpredictable night of horror. With life-or-death decisions around every turn, the choices you make will determine how the story unfolds”.
Tinker plays one of the counselors, Jacob who “is accustomed to being the most popular guy around. Despite some self-centeredness and obnoxious bravado befitting your typical jock, Jacob's got a charming streak and genuinely wants his fellow counselors to have a good time, especially Emma”.
“The Quarry” has a star-studded cast: David Arquette (“Scream”franchise), Siobahn Williams (Heartland, “Forsaken”), Skylar Gisondo (“The Social Dilemma”), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Brenda Song (New Girl, Dollface, “The Social Network”), Evan Evagora (Star Trek: Picard), Halston Sage (Neighbors, “X-Men: Dark Pheonix”), Justice Smith (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), Miles Robbins (“Halloween”, “Blockers”), Ted Raimi (“Evil Dead”, Xena: Warrior Princess), Lance Henrikson (“Aliens”, “The Terminator”), Ethan Suplee (“The Wolf of Wall Street”, “Remember The Titans”, My Name Is Earl), Lin Shaye (“Insidious” franchise,“The Grudge”), and Grace Zabriskie (“Armageddon”, “The Grudge”).
“The Quarry” will be available for: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and is currently available to pre-order. Customers who pre-order the game will have a bonus; they will be able to choose from three filters for the game’s aesthetic and each filter replicates different eras and styles of iconic horror film-making. The game was developed by Will Byles and the company, Supermassive Games. The game is rated M and is considered a horror-thriller game. Players can play solo, play with friends in person via multiplayer mode, or play with friends on online mode. It will be released on June 10th.
