Beyoncé's dad is battling breast cancer.

Mathew Knowles shared the startling news in a teaser for "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, ahead of his sit-down interview which will air tomorrow.

Taking a seat with Michael Strahan, the 67-year-old reveals his diagnosis for the first time to the world.

In the short clip, the "GMA" host is heard asking Beyoncé and Solange's father about breaking the news to his famous daughters.

"How was it to tell your family about the diagnosis?" Strahan asks.

Mathew Knowles is best known for managing Destiny's Child during their career, but has been out of the public eye after Beyoncé cut ties with him professionally when she went solo.

Their personal life took a hit too, with his Grammy winning daughter suing him over the rights to the Destiny's Child brand.

Mathew and their mom, Tina, split in 2009 after it was revealed he had fathered a child with another woman.

The duo were married for 31 years total. In 2013, he remarried and neither Beyoncé nor her sister Solange attended the wedding.

Mathew has attempted to repair his relationship with his daughters and has even met his grandchildren.

Beyoncé has three kids -- Blue Ivy, 7, and 2-year-old twins Rumi and Sir. Mathew's oldest grandchild is Solange's son, Daniel Julez Smith Jr., who's 14.

Beyoncé and Solange's brother is now 9 years old and bares their famous name.

Beyoncé shared a rare photo with her two parents last year at the end of her "On the Run II" tour.

Posing with Tina and Mathew kissing both sets of cheeks, Queen Bey looked happy to have her parents supporting her.

Beyoncé is saying goodbye to year 37.

The singer, who turned 38 years old earlier this month, looked back on her past year in a heartfelt noted posted to her website on Friday.

"Thank you from the depths of me for all my birthday loving," Queen B wrote. "I had an incredible B-day! I'm grateful for every breath. I thank God for all of my blessings, my wins and my losses. I thank God for all of you! I would have posted earlier but I had work to do. I gotta job baaaaby. Here is Your B at 37. Love y'all."

The Grammy winner also shared a series of photos from her 37th year. The sweet snapshots showed the artist vacationing in Sardinia, dressing up for Halloween, attending Leonardo DiCaprio's birthday party and so much more. Of course, there were also plenty of precious pics of her posing alongside her husband Jay-Z and their three kids—Blue Ivy Carter, Sir Carter and Rumi Carter.

There's no denying Beyoncé had an incredible year. She dropped her Coachella film and album Homecoming, starred in The Lion King and released the related album The Gift. She also received the Vanguard Award at the GLAAD Media Awards, secured the second spot on Forbes' list of the highest-paid women in music and met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Beyoncé doesn't turn 38 until Wednesday, September 4, but that didn't stop her from celebrating her birthday three days early.

The "Formation" singer took to her Instagram on Tuesday, September 3, to share photos and videos from her intimate get-together on Sunday, September 1. The post featured a video of her friends and family, including her husband Jay-Z, singing Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday" to her as she smiled and swayed while holding a personalized cake that read, "Happy birthday, B!" The clip continued with Jay-Z, 49, holding a massive bottle of champagne as he cheered for the crowd to sing louder for his wife.

The mini celebration happened backstage at the 2019 Made in America Festival in Philadelphia. where the music power couple watched Lizzo perform earlier in the day. During the concert, Beyoncé and Jay-Z were photographed backstage as the "Good as Hell" singer, 31, performed her set. A day after the show, Lizzo posted a photo of the moment on her Instagram.

"Swipe to lose your f–king mind 🐝," she wrote in the caption.

The two-day music festival was founded by Jay-Z in 2012. The "99 Problems" rapper headlined the event in its first year and 2017, while his wife was a headliner in 2013 and 2015. This year's marquee acts included Cardi B and Travis Scott.

The "Empire State of Mind" artist and the former Destiny's Child member have been married since 2012. They share three children: daughter Blue Ivy, 7, and twins Sir and Rumi, 2. In June, a source told Us Weekly about how close the family of five is.

"Jay-Z and Beyonce have nannies for the kids and their assistants help out too, but they mostly try and bring the kids everywhere," the insider said. "Blue always travels with Beyoncé and comes with her when she's working. The twins are getting older and Beyoncé has been taking them out a little more too. … They're a very tight-knit family and like to do everything together."

The source continued, "Jay-Z does a lot of daddy duty stuff and he takes Blue to school and things like that."
